- Being married to an alcoholic do3s not mean you're stuck. I really liked this book because it serves as a basic primer on metaphysical concepts that when applied to life with an alcoholic spouse, make navigating who you are in the relationship the key to creating the life you want, be it with or without your alcoholic spouse. I had already left, but found the things written about in this book will be very helpful to me now that I'm free of the drama, anger, abuse, and the person who will never understand himself or the concepts explained in this book.
