Amy has finally graduated, and she's excited to move on to her internship with a law firm in London. What she doesn't expect is to be invited to a ball by an eccentric old woman—or that she actually decides to go. Spontaneity is not her thing. When she's pulled back in time, Amy is thrown into a world of balls, picnics, and suitors.

William has spent most of his life helping his aunt Nellie with the time traveling groups who come through Twickenham Manor. But this time it's different. The feisty, beautiful Amy captures William's heart from the moment he sees her, and the magic she calls modern technology captivates him even more.

While the others who have traveled back seem to fit in, Amy is just looking forward until the day she can go home. William knows he should help her, but he's too busy enjoying the taste of the special magic she brought with her. Will Amy finally let go and enjoy her experience at Twickenham Manor, or will she leave William—and her heart—to go back to her own time?

Enchanted Heart Twickenham Time Travel Romance Book 10 edition by Jaclyn Hardy Romance eBooks Reviews

  • I have read all of the Twickenham Time Travel books, and this was my least favorite. The whole story felt rushed and underdeveloped. I feel William deserves a better story. No interaction with Georgiana. She was clearly a plot point. Also, why make a point of writing about the paper plate if it doesn’t come up later? Relationships with other characters are introduced and then just dropped. Why would William give her a horse knowing she’d never ridden before? I don’t think there was a clear account of how Amy and William’s relationship developed. How is his last name never mentioned? It’s mentioned in quite a few of the previous books. If not for the cover, I wouldn’t know what color Amy’s hair is. I wish I had not pre-ordered, and just waited to read for free with kindle unlimited.
  • This story was fun and clean and delved into the fun aspects of time travel for two characters centuries apart. I enjoyed the building friendship and romance between the two main characters as well.
  • I enjoyed reading an Enchanted Heart. Both William and Amy are likable characters that I could empathize with. Amy graduates from law school and heads off to London for an internship. She's received an invitation to a ball that she thinks may have something to do with her internship. William helps his aunt at Twickenham Manor where the ball is being held--in 1870. There is a lot of humor with the modern Americans trying to dress and behave properly for the time period as well as with William's fascination with modern inventions that Amy is not supposed to be showing him. Will Amy stay in 1870 or go back to her own time, breaking William's heart? I like Jaclyn Hardy's writing style and hope to read more of her work. I received an ARC. I chose to leave a review and share my opinion.
  • Amy and William are really sweet together. William loves science and inventions and Amy is happy to share that part of her world with him. I've only read a few books in this series, but it has been a lot of fun. I'm grateful I read a few of the others so I could understand the back story of the time travel, magic, fairies, etc. I enjoyed this story, but I still had several questions at the end, which I won't share because I don't want to give any spoilers.
  • I was looking forward to Williams story for a while and was so excited to read it.

The William in this book was not the same as I’ve experienced in previous installments in the series. Not that it was bad, he just didn’t equate with the other version. The ending seemed a little rushed as well.

That aside I enjoyed the story. Amy gave him a run for his money as well as a new zest for life. However when duty and desire are on opposite sides of the board which will William choose?
  • I loved it!!! William and Amy were so good together and I loved how William loved learning new things. They were made for each other!! I was upset when Nellie wanted William to back away from Amy, but it turned out in the end.
  • The story was okay. I was disappointed in the fact that the author must not have communicated with the other authors in this series. In the other books William is not really Nellie’s nephew. He is said to be an adopted nephew. But she made him the son of her sister. Also if that were true then he would have been a fae like Nellie. She also changed Nellie a bit.
  • Loved this book! Read entire book in one setting. William meets his true love. I received an arc and this is my honest opinion
